ahhhhh... who is that in the pic????
it don't look like shnitzle...
has shnitzle been abducted by osps??

truth..what is truth...all is a matter of persepctive, is is not? You have your perspective and I have mine...hehehehehe.....

note: above comment not intended to reflect on the presumed awesomeness of the" epic one" ........ comment intended solely as a general observation about reality of life.... at least life in the Valley.

speeeeecial one.............

weeeeelll...that is me. i think a lot is a matter of perspective...not everything...but a lot.
could anyone deny that it is truth, in my reality at least, that this classifies itself as epicness? for instance, the statement "Ben thinks its epic that Brett is moving back to Amherst." Only a fool could deny such a thing! :)

hhmmmm...i wonder, if there really is an absolute truth, say about an event or something, there really is only one, objective observer.

no one can deny the fact that you believe such a thing is epic..for indeed you do..hence truth. others could have other opinions (not that anyone would of course for who can deny the specialness of the epic one)...and it woudl also be afct that they have such an opinion (even tho of course they would be wrong in their opinion)

as far as one truth, based on the observation of an event or belief about anything... that is almost always a matter of perspective...hence, legitimately debatable....and many views exist...tho..in time..generally only ONE is proven right..and hence was the truth...but..only known with certainty in hindsight.

so...perhaps it can be summarized that the idea that one has a given opinion of something is a fact (your opinion about the epic one moving back here ) even if the opinion itself is subjective and hence debatable....but shnitzle, rest assured....certianly it will be proven in time and your opinion itself will undoubtedly be known to be fact.

that being said...some things are just truth: 12 miners died, not one, people in comas cannot govern nations, getting Sunnis and Shiites to collaborate is more difficult than republicans and democrats on the hill.

beyond that one may have a lot of opinions..but..they depart from fact. I think. at least... that is my opinion.

it's very late....

ps...are you sure that is you in that pic?
I wouldn't want to be shnitzled by a poser.

can opinions be facts? and yes...that really is me, albeit tired and semi-shaven, and with a teal background...

Opinions be facts??? what a heretical idea :-)
In my opinion, it can only be a fact that someone holds a certain opinion. An opinion itself can only become a fact when (eventually) time proves it to be truth. Conversely time may prove an opinion to be fiction (or untrue). Such as, " I think it will snow today." (opinion). But, by midnight tonight we will know if that opinion is truth..and hence a fact...it is all in the hindsight you know...20:20. We can hold the opinion that something is truth... but as for it actually being truth... we can truly only know, (1) if it is already in the past and is documented...ex...my well is 200' deep) or else wait until is has passed and see.

So.... does semi-shaven mean you changed the facial hair design? Fact or fiction?
