Wallis (an active Democrat), in his book God's Politics says this move towards a theocracy won't change until the Democrats wake up and stop abandoning people of faith... and stop acting as if faith has no place in politics. People's faith informs every area of their life. There is no true dichotomy in our hearts and minds... and separation of church and state was never meant to be used the way it is used today. The way it is being interpreted by the left today is actually leading to exactly the kind of abuses it was supposed to protect against.... like this theocracy stuff!
Every Christian with Democratic leanings ought to read God's Politics to help think thru the issues and to better inform themselves and then.... begin to speak up to our Democratic Party leaders.
