whats new

well...i've pretty much given up my other blogs, except of course for hyfi, and broken glass. things are going well with the hyfi, the ramp is coming along, need more wood. i've been painting a lot. i'll try and post some pictures. so far just paint on cardboard...cardboard is a cheap and durable enough medium for what i'm doing. i guess i'm really just experimenting a lot. i don't know what i am trying to communicate, what i want things to look like, or even what techniques to try. i'm experimenting. seeing what is possible. seeing what appeals. this may be the reverse way of doing things...usually we start with an image in our mind of what we are trying to do. a visualization. if i had one i'm not sure i could paint it. still experimenting with mixture of straight paint, texture and stencil. ah well...something to do ay.
